Peter and Harry clearly explained what had to be done with the transmission of my Landrover and when it was done Harry took me to the workshop and pointed out what he did with the transmission. 2 days after the job I did a run to Adelaide and back and I am happy with the result.

This is simply based on my phone conversation with Peter--I told him about a series of codes and issues and he was very specific and told me first to get the TCM checked out by an auto electrician, even through there is an AT solenoid code. Very honest and helpful--if I have to pursue AT work on my Outback, this will be my first point of call.

Transmission ProblemDON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE PARENT COMPANY !!!!I would recommend You DON'T take your car to the Parent Company with their Shiny Corporate Showroom and Shiny Floor Workshop.JUST TAKE your car directly to Peter and Gary @ Future-Tech Transimission located at 8 Nelson Road Box Hill.Here is my Experience.I took my luxury SUV hardly driven over the years but done about 100K.The Tramission warning indicated "Transmision Service Required plus a couple of other warnings"I took it to the Parent CompanyThey Charged me $250.00 just for the diagnostic.They said they need the Valve Body is the problem and said it will cost $350.00 to open up to ensure it is the Valve Body.$600.00 spent they said it is the Valve Body HOWEVER After the Valve Body is Replaced. How long will it take 6 -7 weeks because they said there is not part in Australia.It needs to come from the Original Country where the parent company is situated.I asked if I replaced the Valve Body what is the warrantee.They said there is no guarantee that there is not Something else that may go wrong with the transmission.Although there is a warrantee for the Valve Body parts.What other parts of the transmission that could cause trouble.They could not tell me. Then I asked what is the likelyhood of something else could go wrong after Valve Body replacement.They said 80% - 90%.In my mind I thought that is ridiculous!!!!!I took my car back from the Luxury Brand Dealer after spending $600.00 No Fix !!!! what the F.I searched the internet and come across Future-Tech and took it to Peter and Gary for the Job.They need to rediagnosis and retest to ensure it is the valve body.They told me I didn't need to wait for 6 - 7 weeks because they know where the Parent Company would have bought the Valve Body from.Beucause the Part was not made by the Parent Company it was made by a Third Party manufacturer.A few weeks Valve Body was fixed. But sure enough there is still some other warning lights. So Future-Tech had to investigate further and found out The TCM "Traction Control Module" was faulty.Now you can understand why the Parent Company could not give a Guarantee that after Valve Body replacement. The Transimission is Trouble Free.To cut the long Stotry Short.According to my estimate if I Took my directly to Future-Tech and not go to the Parent Company. I would have save the $600.00The whole Job Done at Future-Tech saves me around 35%

Very thorough and detailed in the description and completion of the service. Great to find someone that looks after ZF transmissions. They did leave the tool roll for wheel changing on the back seat rather than in its straps behind the seat. They were very accommodating in getting it all done inside a day though, so no complaints.

The reviews here are very accurate. Harry is very knowledgeable and fair. I’ve been trying to diagnose a problem on my car going to several specialists. Harry spent quite a bit of time on diagnosis and decided not to charge given he believes the problem isn’t in the automatic transmission. Very fair.

Hats off to these guys, honesty, knowledge and fault finding skills are 2nd to none. My daughters vw golf gti had transmission problems, i got recommended by a friend to go to futuretech and he was right. They checked all possible problems that would be cheaper to fix 1st before replacing more expensive parts. In our case and what i thought it was before i went there the mechatronic failed. What i really appreciated was they took time to check all possibilities, very rare for mechanics to do this. This is how mechanics used to be when i was growing up and congratulations to these guys to make a customer, ( myself) have faith in mechanics. After taking our RAV4 to two other mechanics (one of them a Toyota dealership) with a suspected transmission issue and being turned away with them not able to find the problem - Harry had identified the issue after a quick test drive. He then took us through all of the options, we opted for him to pull it apart and diagnose further. He and the team kept us up to date with progress, and helpfully explained the findings as they went along. The transmission required a full refurbish, as the belt had failed and left metal shavings throughout. Harry took pride in his work, and made sure everything was in top condition before we picked it up, and again took us through everything involved. We left with a much healthier car, and the peace of mind a true expert had completed a job well done! If you have any transmission issues, I would heartily recommend the team at Future-Tech Box Hill.

Peter and his team over a Future Tech/Fluidrive were by far the upmost professional and accomodating transmission specialists I had dealt with out of 11 across Melbourne regarding my CVT Transmission. Peter had an answer for every question I had regarding the CVT Transmission, his team was extremely thorough and detailed in their inspection and gave me the confidence to trust them with my car. The transmission rebuild was even more impressive than I thought it could’ve been and was so transparent they even gave me the opportunity to see the faulty transmission once it was pulled out and gave me the reassurance every dollar was accounted for.The Transmission Rebuild was job was soo impressive I booked in my Log Book Service with them and honestly was blown away at how quick, thorough and transparent they were with it and even showed me part of my control arm that was worn out which is a service not all shops give but is really important as a consumer to know that every single dollar spent is accounted for and necessary.Overall I would give their team an 11/10 for their work and am definitely going to be bringing my car here from now on and can’t speak highly enough of Peter and his Team over at Fluidrive/Future Tech in Box Hill.

Went thier 31st 2023 may.Asked some questions, he gave his time to answer even though his shop was busy and made every effort to help me out.gave me advice how to test futher headgasket issues to make a %100 accurate assessment.As I'm not qualified mechanic but the guy the way he treated me was with great respect great customer service.Very knowledgeable answers where honest very clear.I would take my car here if he could take an engine rebuild on.But he was kind enough to refer me to another mechanic.I will be taking it thier for transmission service though.Thanks.

Future-Tech did an amazing job on my BMW 650i. They love what they do and it really shows in their enthusiasm and care. They completely overhauled my transmission after getting transmission slipping issues. The transmission is now buttery smooth and driving better than its ever driven. They showed me all the little parts they replaced and explained what they all do and what typically goes wrong.
